CASSP Volunteer Training Workshops
CASSP training workshops are open to anyone interested in becoming a site steward. Workshops are two days long, held over a weekend, and include both classroom instruction and a field trip to an archaeological or historic site. Participants learn about California archaeology, how to assess site conditions, photography techniques, map reading, and how to complete a site condition report.
Workshop fees are $25 per person. Space is limited and workshops fill quickly. Register early to secure your spot. Workshops are held at various locations throughout California throughout the year. Check back regularly for new workshop announcements.
